This is a very impressive replica British Heavy Dragoon Pistol. This style of pistol dates back to the 1730's, but remained in use for nearly a century. The barrel is 12" long and is around .60 calibre. The lock bears the Royal cypher Crown ovrer GR. It has a full working action and can be cocked,  stripped and dry fired.
