Rarely seen in deactivated form, a Uberti 1860 Henry Repeating under lever rifle. Chambered in 44-40. The originals were used during the US Civil War and were the rifle of choice, with the first Henry rifles seen in the hands of Union soldiers in mid 1862. Due to its revolutionary design and rapid rate of fire, the Henry quickly found popularity with both Confederate and Union forces. It would go on to play a significant, if not dominant role in the frontier days of the American West, and soon became one of the most legendary, respected and sought after rifles in the history of firearms. This particular example is marked with the US importer "American Arms Inc N.K.C." who were an importer and manufacturer of firearms. One of classic under lever rifles.
