Product Information

Deactivated 1943 MKII Bren Gun. Manufactured by Monotype Corporation, (makers code M67). First set up in 1942 using sub contractors to help boost production during WW2. The MKII was fitted with non adjustable bipod legs, fixed cocking handle, simple leaf rear sight and simplified barrels to increase build numbers. Companies such as The Daimler Motor Company were involved in the manufacturing of this Bren. This example has parts correctly marked with the various subcontractor makers codes and with matched upper and lower sections. Monotype only produced 83.000 Bren's during WWII. Comes with an original transit chest, WWII dated .303 rounds, pull through cord, oil bottle, sling, wire bore brush and spare magazine. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. A great opportunity to own a real piece of British WWII history. Not to be missed.
