This is a Orbea .38 Argentine contract police revolver circa 1920's with low 4 digit serial number. This revolver was issued to the Argentine Police and is marked "Policia De La Provincia De Buenos Aires". Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. This Spanish made revolvers design is based on the legendary Smith & Wesson Model 10. It has a six inch barrel and a lovely patina finish with original wooden grips.
