Product Information

This is a Browning 1922 that was issued to the "Bahnpolizei" -  German Railway Police whilst under US control. In the aftermath of WWII, Germany was broken up into sectors or zones, American, British, Russian and French. Policing these newly formed sector and zones was done using both German and Allied forces, with weapons being marked and issued according. The total number of these pistols issued is very few, estimated to be around 6,090 across models 1910s & 1922s. Rarely seen as most remained in Germany or were taken back to the US once Germany was self governing. One of the rarer FN 1922s, all visble numbers are matched and it has its original grips and correct magazine.

Deactivated with a working actio it can be cocked and dry fired.
