Product Information

This is a rare Browning model 1922 Yugoslavian military contract pistol and is one 60,000 delivered in 1923-25. Marked with the Yugoslavian crest with words "Army State" on the slide. This pistol was supplied by FN to the newly formed Austrian Hungarian empire after it was dissolved in 1919 under the Treaty of Versaillies. This new state was known as the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and now better known as Yugoslavia. FN was approached to supply various arms, the model 1922 being one. Many were used by Yugoslavian partisans against the Nazis . German forces also captured the 1922s. They designated it the P641(j), and reissued to secondary type forces, such as Bulgarians and Italians. Deactivated with moving parts it comes with an EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
