A cracking WWI British made SMLE . BSA manufactured , dated 1918 with broad arrow stamps . This was the rifle used by the British throughout the first world war . Nick named the "Smelly" it was a very accurate and reliable weapon . Holding 10 rounds in it's magazine and in the hands of  experienced and well drilled soldier's the SMLE could be fired so rapidly that the German's often thought that they were under machine gun fire . Deactivated  with a working action , can be coked , stripped and dry fired .
