This is an original Colt Police Positive.38 revolver dating to 1930. During WWII Colt supplied quantities of these tough well made revolvers to the British Government and to other allied forces and governments. Being chambered in the readily available .38 cartridge it was issued far and wide. This example has the initials EP - Eygtian Police and their property mark. Post WWII the British sold large quantities of arms to the Eygtians including battleships and small arms. Deactivated with a working action and clear chambers.
