This is a rare US manufactured Colt Thunderer revolver, chambered in .41.The Thunderer was first introduced in 1877 and was Colt's first double action revolver that proved to be hugely successful for them. This example dates to 1892 with matching numbers, a six inch barrel, with a lovely even patina to the finish. Deactivated sympathetically to current specifications with a working action and clear chambers.
