A WWII dated Bren MKII, manufactured by Inglis in 1944. This Bren would have been shipped over from Canada during WWII in one of the many merchant convoys destine for the UK, whilst under constant threat from German U-Boat attack. Thankfully this one made it and was then issued into service with Allied forces. Even more remarkable is it is still a complete Inglis gun with matching numbers to upper and lower sections, an Inglis bolt and carrier and barrel and magazine. Bren's  were issued far and wide and saw action service on all major fronts during the war. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
