A scarce Rogers & Spencer .44 percussion revolver. This example was produced by Euroarms of America in the late 1970s and is built to a very high standard. During the US Civil War the United States government contracted Rogers & Spencer for 5,000 of these solid frame revolvers. The Army Model was chambered in .44, but only around 3,400 were produced in the early 1860's. This example has a plated finish and even has the period correct Rogers & Spencer inscriptions and address legends. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
