Product Information

An extremely rare Lincoln Jeffries, Birmingham .450 Top Break Action Revolver, Circa 1880. A truly beautifully crafted Victorian revolver. The top strap reads "Lincoln Jeffries, Birmingham Winner of the Gold Prize 1870, Winner of the 20 Guinea Prize London 1879". Completely original with ornate hand engraving and scroll work, crisp bluing and chequered Walnut grips. An extremely high quality revolver still in incredible condition considering it's well over 130 years old. The design is similar and reminiscent to that of the Tranter or Adam's revolvers of the same period, but differs by virtue of a distinctive larger frame "hump" forward of the cylinders. Less than 100 (possibly even as few as 50) were ever produced and marketed by Jeffries. It comes with an original period wooden box by Perrins & Son, 6 Mealcheapen Street, Worcester. This revolver and the box have been with the same family for over three generations. The box still contains many original tools and cleaning brushes and has 6 inert .450 rounds.

Due to its rarity we believe that this is the only one available anywhere!!

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
