A very unusual Spanish El Gigante .38 Special Plated Revolver. The design of this revolver is borrowed straight from the legendary Smith & Wesson model 10 series and dates to around 1920's. They were used by Spanish police, with many being used in the 1930s during the Civil War and later in WWII. Very rarely seen in this country, especially with this type of finish. The plated finish would have been done in house at the request of an individual. Deactivated way back in 1988 with clear chambers and to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
