Product Information

Deactivated OLD SPEC WWI & WWII Issued Webley MK6 .455 Revolver. This revolver is one of the few that we can safely say was issued for both world wars. Originally manufactured in 1916, the first full years production of the MK6, on the pistol grip stamped out are the original WWI markings. Then, in 1939 it was reissued, the armorer deleted the WWI markings and stamped the new ones, F.A. (Field Artillery)  11.39 (November 1939) and 216 most likely the weapon or unit number. The holster is an original WWI era with the name R.Power .RE. The RE initials may possible stand for Royal Engineers. On the rear, the belt hoops have been modified for WWII dress. Included is a lanyard cord and six inert .455 rounds. A truly superb set. The revolver was deactivated the 1980s to old specifications with a clear barrel and chambers and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
