Product Information

Deactivated OLD SPEC WWII Sten MK3 Submachine Gun. The MK3 was first introduced in 1942 being a simpler design than the MK2 it was made to be cheaper and easy to manufacture. Final assembly of this one was at the ROF Fazakerley, this is denoted by the F prefix at the beginning of the serial number. It is also a very early example, number 38,594th, with nearly 900,000 MK3's produced during the war. More unusual is the numbers "3048" on the bolt and trigger guard. This would have been added when it was assigned to a regiment. Incredibly it still retains much of its original finish and is Broad arrow marked and comes fitted with a skeleton stock and 1944 dated sling. During WWII German captured MK3s were designated as the MP.750(e). Deactivated sympathetically to old specifications in 1988 it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

This example has old but we do have another one available with its original wartime finish and fitted with a T stock. Deactivated to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
