Rare Deactivated Old Spec Sten MKV(5) dated 1944 with broad arrow acceptance stamps. Mark 5s stamped with the "V" Roman numeral were made before the famous battle of Arnhem, September 1944, and were some of the first used during WWII. The early MK5's were manufactured using modified parts from the MKII Sten and No4 rifle . It also has the sling hoop on the top of the stock, this would indicate use by Airbourne troops or Commando's. This is a museum worthy example of the best looking Sten ever made. Deactivated to old specifications with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired. The magazine housing can be swivelled in order to keep dirt from entering the ejection port.
