This is a beautiful condition pre WWII FN Browning Model 1910 pistol chambered in 7.65mm.  As the models name suggests, first produced in 1910 for commercial and governmental markets, it was also adopted and used by many countries as a military issued sidearm. Its compact size, superb build quality and accuracy made it a very popular choice. This model and calibre were used by Gavrilo Princip to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914, which in turn started the First World War . This particular example dates to the late 1930s. During WWII German officers and officials armed themselves with this model.

Deactivated to current specifications with moving slide, trigger and safety lever. The magazine can be removed.
