Deactivated RARE Pre Russian Revolution M1891 Mosin Nagant

This is a very rare Russian M1891 rifle dated 1908 that was manufactured at the Imperial Tula Arsenal. The receiver is marked with the initials "SA" within a square , the Finnish army property mark. From these markings we believe that this rifle is from one of the first batches that were sold to Finland by Russia prior to the Russian revolution (1917). Iroincially in 1939 Finnish forces, armed with these Nagant rifles defeated the Russians during the Winter War when Russia attempted to take back territories lost during WWI. The stock bears the initials "R L" of the Finnish soldier who once used this rifle. A rare find!
