Product Information

A scarce Rogers & Spencer .44 percussion revolver. This example was produced by Euroarms in the late 1970s and is built to a very high standard and is still in lovely original condition with crisp bluing throughout. During the US Civil War the United States government contracted with Rogers & Spencer for 5,000 of the solid frame revolvers. The Army Model was a .44, and only about 3,400 were produced in the early 1860's.The Freeman Army Model Revolver was also solid frame and chamber in .44 caliber with a round 7 1/2" barrel, of which 2,000 are believed to have been produced in 1863-64. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
