This is an all matching numbers pre WWII Russian Mosin Nagant m/91 rifle with its matching bayonet. The serial number "171" has no letter prefix meaning that this is rifle number 171st of 1937's production by Izhevsk. A rare find, but made that much rarer by virtue of having its numbered bayonet. This rifle was made two years before Russian entered WWII when they attempted to invade Finland in 1939. The rifle bears no post war Russian arsenal rework stamps.
