This is a very impressive San Marco, Colt 3rd Dragoon 1851 percussion revolver, chambered in .44. A real beast of a handgun ! This huge revolver has case hardening to the frame, hammer and loading arm assemble, brass trigger guard, blued barrel, pistol grip and cylinders. The cylinders are beautifully hand graved with a mounted troops engaging native Indians. The grips are highly figured Walnut and look amazing!! The overall affect makes for one very impressive hand cannon!!! Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
