A super condition US made Savage model 1899 under lever rifle, chambered in .300. It dates to the early 1920s and is in lovely condition. This model features a hammerless action that was the first of its type to be used on an under lever rifle. This example is superb original condition. The factory bluing and markings are still super crisp with case hardening to the lever. The action is still tight and crisp. Deactivated with moving parts it comes with an EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
