A rare and early Smith & Wesson .38 Safety Hammerless 2nd Model Double Action Revolver Circa 1880-1890. An early version with push button action release, original plated finish and grips. This five shot revolver is often referred to as the "Lemon Squeezer" and was only produced with the button release for a short period. Deactivated with working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
