A very nice deactivated US M1 Garand Rifle manufactured by Springfield Armory. The M1 was the first true semi automatic rifle to be used as a main stream weapon by infantry of any nation. It proved to be one of the best of its type, firing the hard hitting 30.06 calibre round from a 8 round capacity magazine. It was used extensively by US forces throughout WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. Some were even used during the troubles in Northern Ireland. Comes fitted with sling. Available with bayonet & scabbard. Deactivated with a moving cocking handle. It is still partially strippable.
