Product Information

This is a very rare Naval marked London Small Arms manufactured MLE - Magazine Lee Enfield rifle, chambered in .303. It is correctly marked LSA.Co , 1896, LEI and is from only the second years production with a very low serial number 373 A. This number would mean it is rifle number 373rd. LSA started serialisation with 1A. Their production was very small in comparison to BSA and Enfield owing to having a much smaller facility. Below the bolt safety bracket is the letter N, this was only applied to Royal Navy issued weapons and is an extremely rare mark to be found on an MLE. The rifle is fitted with a scarce cleaning rod, sight hood cover and white naval canvas sling. Plus it has its front and rear volley sights, bolt cover and magazine cut off plate. The magazine still has the link chain attached to prevent it from being lost. A very rare rifle that is still in superb condition. You are unlikely to see another!! Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
