A lovely condition Victorian era Webley RIC / Bulldog type .450 revolver, Circa 1880s. These large calibre revolvers were used by British military, police and Government agencies including the prison service. This one is a low serial number 413 and has lovely patina finish and original wooden grips. Accompanying this revolver is a period Victorian prison guards black leather belt, ammunition pouch, one inert .450 round, black leather open top holster and handcuffs. A great set. This is type of revolver was used in the recent Sherlock Holmes movies starring Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law. The revolver is deactivated with a working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
