This is an original Winchester Model 1890 pump action take down rifle chambered in .22LR. The serial number dates this example to 1896 and is one of only 6453 made that year. Production ended in 1941 with over 750,000 made. Of interest this one has pre WWI British proof stamps and would have been supplied to the UK direct from Winchester  and features 24inch hexagonal barrel and Walnut stock.
