Deactivated WWI BSA Short Magazine Lee Enfield .303 Rifle. Better known as the Smelly, this cracking example is dated 1916. Lots of crisp markings and broad arrow stamps. It is also stamped 44, which would suggest that it may have seen action in WWII as well. It comes with a stripper clip and five inert .303 rounds. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. The Bayonet is a Wilkinson 1907 pattern and is dated 1915 and really makes this SMLE look the part. This bayonet is available for purchase separately and not included in the price.
