WWI Early SMLE Rifle manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms (BSA). Early pre World War One production models such as this, were fitted with volley sights, bone rear sights, magazine cut off plate and distinctive rear sight protector guards, nose cap wings and bolt charger loading guide. All these parts were either modified, simplified or deemed not necessary as the war progressed. This one still has its original matched bone rear sights and is fitted with the correct leather sling. Comes with brass oiler bottle and inert .303 rounds with stripper clip. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
