This is a First World War SMLE - Short Magazine Lee-Enfield MKIII* rifle that was manufactured by RSAF Enfield in 1918. The SMLE rifle is synonymous with the British soldier from the Great War. This example is still in great condition with lovely woodwork and correct WWI bolt, and would have seen service again during WWII.
