Product Information

This is a WWI era Magazine Lee Enfield (MLE) MKII .303 rifle. Produced before the outbreak of WWI by LSA  (London Small Arms) as a commercial rifle it was subsequently procured by the Royal Navy during WWI and is stamped with a capital N to indicate this on the left side on the barrel stock band. A great many of these rifles were later sold off into the civilian market during the inter war period. This rifle has had a rear sight from and SMLE fitted that is marked "sale permit". The rifle retains its woodwork with both volley sights, magazine cut-off, correct early magazine and bolt assembly. Deactivated to current specifications with moving bolt and trigger.
