A great looking First World War SMLE MKIII*. Dated 1918, it was manufactured by London Small Arms. This example has a very rare New Zealand "NZ" military property mark. New Zealand had a very small armed force and were supplied with SMLE's by Britain during both world wars. After being retired from military service this rifle was converted by Parker Hale and is now fitted with P&H rail and mounts and Nikko Sterling, Gold Crown 4x40 scope. The scope is in good condition with good clear optics. The rifle has a matching bolt and comes fitted with a leather sling. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
