Deactivated WWI Webley MK6 .455 Revolver

This is a rare First World War issued British officers Webley MK6 that has had the barrel shortened from 6 inches to 4. This would have most likely happened during its service life and by a skilled armourer. It would have been done at the request of the owner and/or possible due to being damaged. Dated 1917 this revolver has matching numbers to barrel, frame and cylinders and has its original factory finish and grips. Virtually every part carries a broad arrow acceptance stamp.
