A superb original condition First World War dated Webley MKIII  brass flare pistol. This is an early 1916 production MKIII, by the end of 1915 Webley only reached serial number 22,104. This one is number 23,651 and may well have been built in late 1915 before being completed in early 1916. They were used to signal, along with whistles when ordering soldiers to leave the trenches and go "over the top". A must have for the WW1 collector. Would make a great addition to any collection. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
