Deactivated WWI Winchester P14 Rifle

This is a WWI dated Winchester manufactured Enfield P14 rifle with its original matching bolt. The rifle is dated '17 (1917) and the serial number also confirms this as the year of manufacture. It would have been delivered to the UK is the early part of 1917. In total Winchester only delivered in the region of 225,000 -235,000 P14s during WWI, with the final batch being received in July 1917. During WWII many were re-issued and used by the British Home Guard. Post WWII this example has been sporterised with the addition of a scope and mounts.
