Product Information

This is a First World War dated Wolseley manufactured MKIII* brass flare pistol. This example is dated 1917 but received its final military inspection and broad arrow acceptance stamps in 1918. It was made by Wolseley Sheep Shearing Co, the parent of Wolseley Motors. Wolseley were among a few other small companies that were contracted to supply the MKIII* brass flare pistols for the WWI British war effort. They produced far less than Webley, this one number 9896th and has matching numbers.

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, strippe and dry fired.
