Product Information

This is a WWI & WWII ERA -Edystone Remington Arms manufactured British military issued P14 (Pattern 1914) Rifle chambered. This examples was shipped from America and once received in the UK it was then inspected and stamped with British military acceptance markings (broad arrow or crows foot) before being issued into service. During the Second World War these WWI P14s were brought back into service and reissued to Home Guard units around the UK. They are now most commonly associated with the classic British WWII sitcom 'Dads Army'. The stock is marked with the initials "F.R.P. 65",  beleived to the Home Guard Battalion it was issued to.  The design is based heavily on the Mauser Gew98 action that was being used by the Germans. In an ironic twist US arms companies were paying Mauser for the rights to use the design patent to make rifles that were then being used against German forces.

Deactivated to currect specifications with full moving parts.
