Deactivated WWII Albion No2 MK1* .38 Revolver

This is a WWII Albion manufactured No2 MKI* .38 revolver. The vast majority of No2 revolvers were made by RASF Enfield, but as the war deepened it soon became apparent that more were needed. The British Government contracted Albion Motors in Scotland to make the No2 from 1941 to 1943. However, very few were made, with only an estimated 24,000 completed during wartime production. The serial numbers of this example starts with an A prefix and is from the first batch of 10,000 they made.
