This is a late WWII Bren MKII dated 1945. It was manufactured by Inglis and is one of the very last Bren's they made before the contract ended. The highest recorded serial number is 15T7544, this example is number 15T4255 from that batch and has matching numbers to frame, trigger assemble and barrel. The Bren is one of the classic WWII British and Common Wealth machine guns, they were used on all fronts throughout the war. Leading weapons and WWII experts have stated over the years that without the Bren the outcome of WWII would have been very different, such was its importance.
