Deactivated WWII British Issued Lend Lease Smith & Wesson .38 M&P Revolver

This is a mid 1942 Smith and Wesson .38 M&P Revolver, issued to the British under the wartime Lend Lease programme. With both US Property and British acceptance stamps and traces of British Suncorite paint on the frame and cylinders, this makes an interesting piece with ties to both sides of the Atlantic. The revolver comes complete with lanyard and 1942 dated canvas holster.
