Product Information

This, British made Lee Enfield No4 MKI was manufactured by ROF Maltby in 1943 for Britain's war effort. During 1943 British forces were woefully short of weapons, all available rifles were quickly put into service as the conflict in Europe deepened. This No4 survived the war and in 1948 was sent to the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley where it was Factory Through Repaired (FTR) before being put back into service. Post WWII many No4s were soon in action again seeing active service during the Malayan Emergency (1948-1960) and Suez Crisis (1956-1957) .Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
