A great condition WWII British manufactured Lee Enfield No4 MKI .303 rifle. It was manufactured by BSA - makers code M47C in 1944. It has various of issue/unit markings on the stock. This rifle may well have been involved in D-Day landings of that year, and would have almost certainly seen active service in Europe as Allied forces started to overwhelm and push back the Germans. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
