This is a Second World War British made Lee Enfield No4 MKI rifle. Marked on the receiver ROF (F) 7 43 = Royal Ordnance Factory, Fazakerley, July 1943, the rifle has its matching bolt. The original woodwork has lots of age related wartime blemishes and an armours repair to the upper forward woodwork section. This is a good indication that it saw active service. It is fitted with a 1942 dated canvas sling and comes with 5 wartime .303 inert rounds.
