This is an excellent WWII British made No4T sniper rifle chambered in .303. With matching bolt and wood work.  Dated 1943 and stamped M47, this is an early manufacturing code used by BSA Shirley. The letter "T" stamped on the receiver stands for Trails. Some No4T's were produced from trails rifles. "TR" stamped below the serial number meaning Telescopic Rifle.The scope is a No32 MK1, 1941 dated and has excellent clear optics. Fitted with correct leather sling. This is the rifle used by British snipers during WWII . A very rare opportunity to own a piece of WWII British history. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
