A Superb WWII Colt made 1911 A1. Serial number dates this pistol to 1943. It has the initials "GHD" Guy H. Drewry, these markings are the correct US Military inspection stamps used on Colt made 1911's during WWII production. The pictures do not convey just how impressive the deep blued mirror finish is on this pistol. The 1911 is synonymous with US forces as there standard sidearm during WWII and most conflicts post WWII. Comes with inert .45 rounds. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
