Product Information

A WWII "D-Day" era production Colt 1911A1 pistol. Stamped on the frame "United States Property", and on the reverse with the inspection initials FJA (Frank J Atwood).  This pistol sserial number dates 1944. The 1911 was the standard issued sidearm of the US military throughout WWII. Chambering the mighty .45 round (the same as the Thompson SMG) it was feared by German troops.
