This is a WWII "D-Day" era British military marked Webley MKIV (4) .38 revolver. Webley's marked "War Finish" were only produced and marked this way during wartime production. This example also has the British military broad arrow acceptance stamp and dates to the spring of 1944. It has matching numbers to frame, barrel and cylinders. They issued to various branches of the military including the RAF, vehicle or tank crews and the MOD police.
