Deactivated WWII Enfield Bren MK1

This is a Second World War British Bren MKI that was manufactured by Enfield in 1942. This example has definitely seen active service. On the receiver is the original '42 (1942) Enfield acceptance date stamp but also a '46 (1946) stamp. This would have been applied when it returned to the factory for repair. In addition to this it received a coat of MOD black Suncorite paint and still retains the correct "humped" stock and dial sight. One of the classic WWII British weapons. It has matching numbers to the receiver, trigger assembly and barrel release ctach.
