Deactivated WWII Enfield Bren MKI

This is a WWII British made Bren MK1 dated 1942, it was made by RSAF, Enfield during the height of the war. The serial number starts with the letter prefix U, and is from the first batch of that years production just a month or so after the Japanese attack on Parl Harbour ( Dec 1941) which in turn brought the US into the war. Bren's being produced during this period saw service throughout the world on all fronts. The Bren is one of the classic WWII British and Commonwealth machine guns. Leading weapons and WWII experts have stated over the years that without the Bren the outcome of WWII would have been very different, such was its importance.

This Bren is available and is currently at the proof house being re-certificated.
