This is a British military issued WWII Enfield No2 MKI** .38 Revolver, dated 1943. Often referred to as the "Tankers" revolver, it is said that RAF crews first raised the concerns about the hammer catching in the cockpit when bailing out. This example comes with an original 1941 Air Ministry canvas holster and 6 inert .38 rounds. These revolvers were also used by the British Army being issued to armoured vehicle and tank crews as well as the RAF.
